Featuring Hahn’s expressive paintings alongside the atmospheric world of The House of Cade Black, the event celebrates the connections between nature, creativity, ritual, and personal expression.
Jenny Hahn: Artist, Author and Creative Guide
Jenny Hahn is a Kansas City artist, author, and creative guide who graduated from the ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø in 1999 with a BFA in Illustration. Her work explores creativity as a pathway toward connection, self-expression, and wholeness. "Painting is my connection to the mystery. When I show up to the canvas, I am aware of a profound creative energy over which I have little control, but through which I am continually humbled and amazed as I let go and trust the process. I feel that I am co-creating with a force greater than myself. I paint in vibrant color mostly using acrylics, either on stretched canvas or on board. Working layer upon layer, I allow the images to emerge organically and shift as they develop. It feels like I’m receiving the image rather than creating it—like a midwife bringing new life into the world."
Through painting, writing, mindfulness, and creative practice, Hahn creates vibrant, intuitive works inspired by the natural world and the sacred qualities found within everyday life.
Mystic Nature will feature a selection of Hahn’s artwork, including available works.
Hahn is also the author of the award-winning book Creative Flow, a visually engaging guide developed from more than twenty years of creative practice. Through personal stories, writing prompts, mindfulness exercises, and creative activities, Creative Flow encourages readers to move beyond creative blocks and reconnect with curiosity, expression, and play.
The book received a Silver Medal in the 2024 Living Now Book Awards: Books for Better Living and was named a finalist in both the 2024 Next Generation Indie Book Awards and 2024 American Book Fest.
Hahn will be available during the evening for a special book signing of Creative Flow.

Featuring The House of Cade Black
The event will also feature The House of Cade Black, bringing an additional sensory dimension to Mystic Nature through organic botanical fragrance.
Existing at the intersection of art, science, nature, and sensory experimentation, Cade Black approaches perfume as a creative medium. Drawing inspiration from botanical materials and the evocative qualities of the natural world, the brand explores fragrance through unexpected combinations and immersive sensory experiences.
During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a special Cade Black Scent Making Bar, creating a personalized fragrance experience.
Participation in the perfume-making experience will support the ÌÇÐÄTV¹ÙÍø's Giving Week, with donations contributing to the final Giving Week fundraising push.
